January Concerts!!

Last month wow that sounds weird considering it is 2013 and we are in the second month.

MR has taught me about Keane. When you get in her car odds are Keane is playing. I don't mind I like it and have listened to them as we have gone on various adventures.

However sometime in late 2012 she told me they were coming to LA and would I go I was like sure why not. Then I learned they were coming to San Diego House of Blues and next thing I know we are purchasing tickets for both nights. I was also given the assignment to learn all their songs by the time the concert came.

As I took on the challenge I realized I did like their music they helped relax me after work and sometimes prepared me to face the day.

So when our Keane weekend began we headed up to Hollywood to see them at the Pantages and it was so much fun. I love that I have friends who are willing to drive up from SD to Hollywood for the night. Granted I know it is not something we would do every weekend (well we did do it two weekends in a row) but that just makes me love life that much more - that I have friends who are willing to do fun stuff. So the concert at Hollywood was great.

Then the next day we went to House of Blues in San Diego. It was even BETTER than the night before. Smaller venue right by the stage but Tom's voice was pure beauty. I truly enjoyed that night even more.

Needless to say when I went to work the next day I was in a daze and totally sleep deprived and had a new hire orientation. Good thing I knew the newest team member from another life so he totally understood. The joke around the office about me is that I love Keane and may disappear with MR to go on tour with them! I don't mind those kind of jokes; at least my boss and co workers know I enjoy my weekends to the fullest.
