About my Play List
So I have been neglectful of my blog. I was excited to start it but had to make it private as I realized I could be posting things that I may not necessarily want the world to read and now I am torn as I have my family in Mezico who maybe just maybe want to read this right? So I am going to do a quick summary as to what songs I have on my play list and why.
Poker Face by Lady Gaga - This is a good Vegas song. I love Vegas not only because it is Vegas but I have friends and family there and it is always a great time!!! Even more so when you are there with Anderson!!!
I Cross My Heart George Strait - I think that this is a beautiful love song and it sums up how I would feel about that one person I just couldn't live without.
September by Earth Wind and Fire - Disco music just makes me happy and want to dance. I think it is because my mom was a disco queen and I grew up with her blasting it and dancing. I miss my mommy!!!
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by Andrew Sisters - how can this music not make you want to dance!?
If you Leave by OMD - Oh this takes me back to high school and such sweet memories.
She's a Lady by Tom Jones - this reminds me of a dear friend of mine who was there for me and I wanted to be like because she was trying to be like Jesus!!!
Weekend in New England by Barry Manillow - Any song by that man reminds me of the one person on this earth outside of my family that has known me the longest Cathy P. We were once inseparable and know that we are adults it is hard to see each other but I know she is just a call away and so am I.
At the Beginning from the Movie Anastasia - This song is just a good song.
The following songs are all baseball related:
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond - I love Mr. Diamond and hope to see him soon in concert. I had the opportunity to go to Fenway Park and feel the energy that is in that stadium and sing this song with my niece Laura. That is a memory I will never forget and will hold close in my heart always.
Cheap Seats by Alabama - I wish I loved cheap seats but I don't I like to be right there at the field view level. However, to just have a seat to a baseball game is a great time and this song captures why I love baseball!!!
Calling All Angels by Train - Helloooo this is the Anaheim Angels song!!! oh the 2002 Comeback kids made every Angel fan dream come true as we watched them win the World Series!!!
