This morning as I was getting ready for work I was reflecting on my life a year ago. I was preparing for surgery and felt like life was just crazy and didn't know how I would do being away from work for six weeks.
I was and am so grateful for my amazing brother K and my sister in law E who provided me with the opportunity to be at their home to recuperate for about 4 weeks. I was spoiled with some great made meals, Internet, cable, and sleeping in. I was spoiled.
I was also well taken care of by my friends who took me to the hospital, visited me and got me out of a hellish room (the roommate was interesting), and checked in on me with e-mails and cards.
How blessed I am for having such great people in my life.
