I was advised that I would have to go to the HSE convention in Paris, France this year. So after getting my passport and making arrangements off I went to Paris on Sunday, June 26. Now let me tell you, I went to a baseball game the night before, then woke up early to be at church on time and give a talk and then drove back to Bostonian Manor parked my car and was picked up by the shuttle bus. Arrived at the airport and there met up with members of the HSE team (2 of my 3 favorites) and the GM of the Torrance facility Aerospace division.
My flight was interesting - someone passed out waiting for the bathroom and I was like lovely I was just falling asleep. Then a horrible smell started to take over the area and I of course started gagging...the flight attendant thought it was me and I thought it was the person passed out. Then they turned the lights on in our section and a lady in the middle section of the plane had thrown up all over herself. Yes I was about to pass out.
So after this smelly flight we landed and caught a cab to our hotel. I was not impressed on my drive and was kind of feeling as if I was dreaming when we saw the Eiffel Tower. We checked in met some people and then Marcia, William and I went for a walk to the tower. We walked by an Artillery and this is a nice image to see as you walk in right?
