Day 12 - My Thoughts on Harry Potter
I read all the Harry Potter books. I started as a challenge with my oldest niece Laura and ended with challenges with my niece Natalie.
I enjoyed the books and cried like a baby when Dumbledore died. It just wasn't right.
I have seen the movies but not sure if all of them. I did the midnight shows for a couple but not all of them. I will be watching the latest HP this afternoon with my nieces and nephew.
I think HP books are a good escape for a kid of any age.

Day 11 - My Top Three Favorite Bands
As I am pondering what my top three favorite bands are I realize I may not have three as most people are individuals. So let's see what I come up with.
1. Depeche Mode I can not tell you how many times I have seen them in concert but it has been many. Their old stuff is classic and has many great memories of great times with amazing friends!!!!
Like the time I took a bunch of stickers after the concert that KROQ left behind in a box. People were mobbing to get them I saw a box walked over and there they were. So I took a handful for my friends and said guys let's get out of here!!!
2. U2 is the second best to DM. I have seen them many times as well. I was introduced and fell in love with them more by my college friend Rhonda. We went to ASU on a trip once and it was a great time with U2 music all the time.

3. Styx - I grew up listening to Styx because of Cathy's (her sister liked them) and my neighbor across the street Mike R always playing them. I was even invited to go see their farewell tour by my neighbor as he had an extra ticket but my dad did not allow me to go because I was too young. So I waited until my mid 20's when they played again and went with Cathy P. So although I have only seen them once I was grateful to have had the chance.
Day 10 - Talk about my pets or pets I have had
I have not had many pets.
The first pets I had were two dogs. A Basenji which was called Benji and a Cocker Spaniel named Ginger. They were fun dogs and Ginger was eventually allowed to sleep in the garage when my mom felt bad for her.
I was told when Ginger dies but told Benji ran away when he died. I was eventually told he really had died. It is interesting how parents try to protect you from such things.
My stepdad later had a cat. I do not like cats....and had to take care of this cat when it became anemic and very ill. I even had this cat sleep in my room.
At the Bostonian Manor we currently have a turtle left by our former roommate Monica. Turtle, Ted, Buddy was little and left in a 10 lb fish tankhe recently moved on up to a 30 lb fish tank. Compliments of Sharon P.
Day Nine - Favorite Movie at the Time
The last movie I saw was "The Secretariat" and I loved it.
I enjoyed it a lot and even though I knew it was based on the true story I was still worried as to how the Secretariat would do in the race.
I liked that the main character did what she did because she loved the family ranch and would do whatever it took to save it by what she knew best. She was the underdog and not respected for her knowledge or conviction.
I think it takes a lot of courage to stand up for what you believe in and people can often be discouraged by others telling them it can not be done.
I highly recommend this movie.
Day 8 - Am I Fitness Guru or a Couch Potato
Right now I am a couch potato and I hate it. I need to lean more towards the fitness guru.
When I do work out I enjoy it and love it. I am dedicated and diligent. Unfortunately, I have left that lifestyle behind and need to go back and find it.
In 2002 I was probably in the best shape of my life. I would go to the gym in the early morning and run, go to work, go to the gym do wather aerobics and train with a trainer and the other nights I would do tae kwon do and kickboxing. It was fun and I lost a lot of weight and loved it.
Now I am a couch potato and as I have a hard time doing things I realize how out of shape I am and need to change my life.
Day 7 - How I came across blogging and how it has changed my life.
I first came across blogging on a personal level when I moved into the Bostonian Manor. The house had it's own blog so I started blogging there.
However, as I really did not know the people who read the blog it was kind of odd to blog to an audience that did not know me.
Which is how I started this blog. It has not changed my life and I go through phases where I don't blog for day....obvious by my 30 day challenge.
